Annoying nuisance, or what not to do in smart toilets in Europe
Dry closets are installed on the streets of Paris, which, after each visitor, are independently cleaned and disinfected …
To do this, a special disinfectant is sprayed inside the booths, and then the internal space is dried with hot air. The self-cleaning function is activated automatically when a person leaves the booth. True, if Europeans know this, then it is not familiar to people from the CIS. Hence the mass of curious, and sometimes unpleasant, cases.
What happened
A tourist from Russia decided to visit such an intelligent dry closet. He paid for the entrance and stepped into a clean booth. Unfortunately, shiny surfaces and a pleasant smell did not convince him of cleanliness: out of habit, he climbed onto the rim of the toilet, squatting. Since smart technology was not ready for such a turn of events, a software failure occurred.
Why did the program crash
Sensors on the floor of the dry closet transmit a signal about the visitor’s stay. When a man with his feet climbed onto the rim, a clever mind considered that the inside was empty again. The disinfection function has been activated. Frightened, the tourist jumped to the floor, which again confused the smart car. After disinfection according to the plan, she began to supply hot air to dry the space.
By the way, the visitor was not injured, but became enraged, afterwards he sat for several hours locked in the cockpit while the rescuers rescued him (so he had to open the anti-vandal door with antigen).
How to deal with addiction in other countries
Europe has already paid attention to immigrants from the CIS countries and to their way of climbing the toilet rim with their feet. That is why in Finland at gas stations hang pictures with inscriptions showing how to use the toilet.
